Paper Words
This activation is interesting because you practice sharing words of knowledge with a number of people, including yourself! It also offers a different type of approach that can feel a little less direct. It can be a great activity for people who are a little uncomfortable sharing with others more directly or in a group type setting (we have our small groups practice this activation in their ministry time often).
Have the students break into groups of 4-6, and get pieces of paper labelled with corresponding letters or numbers for however many people are in the group. Students will take turns writing words of knowledge (or prophetic words would work just as well, depending on what you want to practice) on each of the pieces of paper: so each person shares a word with each other person – the trick is you don’t know who that person is yet!
Once each group member has written on each sheet of paper, then draw from a hat which person belongs to each letter or number, then get the piece of paper with your words on it. Again share some feedback with your group members about accuracy and so forth.
