I’ve found that this can be a great activation for getting people kicked off with prophecy. Some people find that using a visual cue to step into prophecy is much easier to do. To do this activation:

Put the students in groups and have each group choose someone to prophesy over.
Have each group ask God to highlight one object to use to prophesy off of. Whoever sees a highlighted object first chooses the object and if possible brings it to the group. (Note, this is actually practicing the gift of discerning of spirits)
Next each member asks God how this object speaks of the person you’re prophesying to.
Each member of the group shares what God speaks to them and shares with them.
Once every member has shared, choose a new person to prophesy over and repeat the whole process.
